Description
Herring (clupea harengus) is well known for being rich in omega-3s, beneficial to the cardiovascular system and for lowering cholesterol levels. Also recognized for its abundance of proteins as well as vitamins, kipper is also an excellent appetite suppressant.
Tasting:
Eat them lightly pan-fried, barbecued, reheated for three minutes in boiling salted water (like a boiled egg) or soaked in a little hot milk (which helps to desalinate them slightly).
