Spirulina (Spirulina Platensis) is a microscopic blue-green algae with considerable nutritional potential.
Spirulina contains a wealth of nutrients in a very small volume. This low-calorie algae is rich in vegetable protein (55% to 70%), iron (3 mg to 8 mg per 5 g) and vitamins B12, B1, B2 and E.
Spirulina is an ideal nutrient source for children, athletes, pregnant women and is also suitable for vegetarians.
