How to prepare old-fashioned cherry tomatoes?

Rinse and dry your old-fashioned tomatoes. Wash the tomatoes at the last moment, just before cooking or eating them, to preserve them better and keep all their flavor. You can then cook them whole, stuff them, dice them, slice them... It all depends on your recipe. If you prefer to cut them vertically rather than horizontally, the tomatoes will keep their shape better in the salad, and will wash out less.

Did you know?

The tomato arrived in France in the 16th century, after being discovered in South America. The tomato is an annual plant that produces throughout the season. Our tomatoes are grown under cover: this protects the plants from the vagaries of the weather and from parasites, reducing the need for synthetic pesticide treatments. Prince de Bretagne's market gardeners have been using auxiliary insects to pollinate and naturally protect tomato plants for several decades. They are committed to producing tomatoes from a healthier, more sustainable agriculture (rainwater harvesting, water recycling, crop waste, etc.). Organic tomatoes grown in the open ground are available from May.
